Westercon 2009 Site Selection
Members of Westercon 60 will vote to choose the site of the 2009 West Coast Science Fantasy Conference (Westercon 62). The site selection ballot is included in this progress report (you should be able to pull it out from the center of the PR), and will also be available for download from the Gnomeward Bound website. You can vote by mail or in person at the convention, or have someone deliver your ballot to the convention for you; however, on-line voting is not available.
As of the April 15, 2007 ballot filing deadline, Westercon 60 received one valid and eligible bid, for Phoenix in 2009. Bids for the Northern and Southern Westercon site selection zones as defined in the Westercon the documents specified in section 3.4 of the Westercon Bylaws to Gnomeward Bound’s mailing address or present them to the administrator in person at the convention.
Current plans call for Site Selection balloting at Westercon 60 to be open on Saturday and Sunday, with the results to be announced on Monday morning.
