San Francisco's AT&T Park, home of Major League Baseball's San Francisco Giants, is an easy 30-40 minute train ride from Hayward Park train station (_ mile/1 km from the hotel). The Giants play the Arizona Diamondbacks on Friday, June 29 at 7:15 PM. (There is also a 6:15 PM game on Saturday and a 1:05 PM game on Sunday.) If there is sufficient interest, we will organize a group outing to see a ball game on Friday evening, catching the 5:45 train from Hayward Park station. If walking from the hotel, allow enough time to walk to the train station. If you want to drive to the train station, there is a $2 parking fee at the station. In all cases, allow enough time to buy an $8 round-trip train ticket from one of the ticket vending machines on the platforms, and remember that they may be busy with other people going to the game.
Tickets for seats we would likely be able to arrange (ranging from bleachers to upper box) range from $27-$33, not including train fare. The return train after the game leaves approximately 25 minutes after last pitch.
